About Kelly

Kelly is a dressage and working equitation rider with over 30 years of experience showing multiple disciplines, training, teaching, and starting young horses. After 25+ years as a riding instructor, both privately and for established programs, while working in the "civilian" secor as well, Kelly helped found a company that designs innovative equestrian products. She now balances her role there with continuing to fulfill her dream of improving the lives of horses as a conscientious stable owner, trainer, and breeder.

As a dressage-based trainer of young and old horses, competing horses, and companion horses, Kelly values the great outdoors as much as the show ring and likes to let horses “be themselves” as much as possible.

Her gentle and intuitive approach aims to develop each equine’s balance, strength, and understanding such that any style or level of riding can be easy and enjoyable for both partners.

Kelly and her mare, OFI Jostina, compete in working equitation and have earned many awards including 3 national breed high point awards, regional championship titles, and the National L3 Open Highpoint Champion in 2022.
